The mandate of the HESR is to facilitate the development of a cohesive framework that integrates human and economic security efforts. By leveraging public-private partnerships and adopting a multidisciplinary approach, the Roundtable aims to address systemic security challenges that impede economic stability and growth, promote evidence-based policies and strategic initiatives to enhance Nigeria’s resilience, and align security efforts with broader national and global development goals, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
