Head of Public Affairs and Public Policy
Seun Ojo is a public policy and governance expert in Nigeria. She currently serves as Head of Public Affairs and Public Policy at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), where she provides strategic leadership for national and sub-national policy engagement, evidence-based policy advocacy, and private sector–government collaboration in Nigeria.
In her role at NESG, Seun leads the development and implementation of public policy stakeholder engagement strategies, supporting dialogue between policymakers, business leaders, and development partners. She oversees policy analysis, policy intelligence, and policy impact assessments, ensuring that economic reforms and governance initiatives are informed by data, research, and rigorous evaluation. She also plays a key role in strengthening policy monitoring and evaluation systems and supporting policymaker briefings through NESG’s Policy Commissions.
Seun has been instrumental in coordinating the technical and intellectual content of the Nigerian Economic Summit, Nigeria’s foremost platform for shaping national economic policy, reform priorities, and sustainable growth strategies. Her work contributes directly to advancing conversations on economic transformation, governance performance, and inclusive development in Nigeria.
Seun is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Public policy and Administration at the Walden University. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Commercial Law from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, having been called to the Bar through the Nigerian Law School. She earned a Public Leadership Credential (Executive Certificate) from the Harvard Kennedy School, with a focus on public leadership and governance, and is a member of the Harvard Kennedy School Government Alumni Network (Nigeria). She also holds a certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Seun is a PRINCE2-certified Project Management Practitioner and holds a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the International Bar Association, and the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA). Her expertise spans public policy, governance, economic strategy, and institutional reform in Nigeria.
