Gbemi Ibrahim is a global Human Resources leader, certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and AI/ML researcher with a strong focus on building workforce resilience through sustainable people practices, innovation, and technology. She brings nearly 20 years of progressive experience across financial services, telecommunications, development, and consulting environments.

Gbemi possesses deep expertise across the full HR value chain, positioning her as a strategic HR leader with global perspective. Her work integrates people strategy, workforce planning, organisational design, and people analytics to support institutional performance and long-term impact. In addition to her HR leadership credentials (CPHR, GPHR, Chartered MCIPD, MCIPM), she is highly skilled in project and product management, with hands-on experience in Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, design thinking, and strategic communications.

Academically, Gbemi has completed and ongoing pursuits as follows:  B.A. in English Studies from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom; an MBA-Big Data Management from IU International University of Applied Sciences, Berlin; Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science and Business Analysis from McCombs School of Business, University of Texas in Austin, and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Walsh College, USA. She also holds executive diplomas in design thinking, innovation, and strategy from leading global institutions: MIT, Columbia Business School, and Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Gbemi has served on the Board of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Nigeria Chapter, and is a proud alumna of Lagos Business School (LBS), the School of Media and Communications (SMC), and the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC). She currently serves as Head, Workforce Management and Academy at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG).
